I don't think we will ever be able to comprehend the depth of God's love and forgiveness. Over and over again he reaches out to us in the midst of our craziness. He forgives us while he is still trying to teach us to forgive. Shawn's story is the ultimate one of forgiveness. His life was one of selfishness and destruction, but God's loving kindness ran him down and took him over as it has done with so many of us.Thank you Jesus for the patience to endure our foolishness and save us from all our sins. Yes, it is more definitely more blessed to give than to give than to receive, because you can't beat God giving!

Enjoyed the entire storyline. Unfortunately novellas are predictable because there isn't enough time to tell the entire story.

I loved the "Second Chance At Love" series so I bought this book by Ms. Miller. I liked this book, but didn't love it. Lily was a strong woman who didn't take much mess. Shawn was a spoiled self-centered brat who lost Lily because of his playboy lifestyle. They deal with a few issues and there is a predictable ending. I thought that the book could have benefited from more character and story development. It was shorter than I expected.
I like Ms. Miller a lot and will try more of her books. I just didn't love this one.
I love the short story , I love Vanessa Millers writing the characters in this series , the Morrison family and how the Shawn and Isaiah characters came back together as a family , what we learned about papa Morrison first family and how it lost them that was a surprise in my reading of this book. Great book recommend it to my friends that love to read. My book club just finished this whole series all books were fantastic . Great writing Vanessa Miller.
The whole series 1-5 books were wonderful. book 5 which is this one made me cry. It was great. I loved it ans the others too. This book just made them all come together. I have read everything from vanessa miller and I am never dissappointed. If you want some SUPER DUPER drama then read the rain series and the storm series. They were the best. I am anxiously waiting for her to top those series. All I can say is Ms. Vanessa keep writing and I will keep reading. Its ashame that I am so glad when my boss takes extra lunch time so I can keep reading. You are wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep letting God use you. Everything she writes has a message and is clean and not trashy or crossing the line where God is concerned. I am in awe and could keep on going, but I have to get back to work. Love ya Ms. Vanessa

This is the last of a series of very short novellas. As such, it's hard to really get very deep into character development like one would with a longer book, but I felt that, given the amount of space, the author did an excellent job. Throughout this series, the author wrote in a way that has made me care about her characters and what happens to them. I felt like I knew them and, even though the very end was expected, it was well written and I was glad I had read it. There were plot twists that I hadn't expected, and that's always good! There was lots of humor and evengelism without preachiness, though there are scriptures, so if that's not what you want, don't read this. I was glad to see them. I am looking forward to seeing some of her longer works to see how she does with more room to operate!
The whole Blessed and Highly Favored Series was awesome. The idea of thinking that all you have belong to you and not sharing is a problem we all have. The Playboy's Redemption was just another way of showing how spoiled we are when we want to do our own thing. When you do wrong it will catch up with you. Joel Morrison didn't have to give each of his children a large inheritance but he did with a stipulation that it be used to start a foundation to help someone else. The last son gave his backto his father because he felt like it should be his money to do with as he pleased but when things happen in your life and shake the foundation that you live in then you begin to see things differently. Just like the other sisters and brother in the end he did what was right but it took almost a tragedy that happen in his life for him to do what was right. God is still in control even in the times we turn our back on Him.
